Check out this snazzy CSS. Look a little familiar? It should. I just added and tweaked a few things from an old one I made a while back.

A few things before I start my rambling. I've added some rather important (or not so important) lists below the news section for those who are expecting artwork from me, or wondering how the progress on my *BattleofLimbah audition is coming along. (if at all) That and a few other things. So for those who are concerned about that and don't want to hear my seemingly pointless ranting, scroll on down and have a look see.

Well, first snow of the year! Kinda sorta. Isn't sticking to the ground because it's still too warm from our awkward weather. That and it just rained. But still. I'm happy that I was able to see snow in December! I was beginning to have my doubts, with the grass still being green and everything. Good to know that Winter's finally here!


So yeah, I'm starting to get excited about the idea of Christmas coming up within the next 23 days. Though at the same time, I'm a little anxious too. It's not going to feel quite the same this year, I don't think. Last year was just kind of the general shock. And my parents are having the real first "who gets who when" argument about the Holidays.

I'm starting to feel like a hot potato. Or just an object in general. That and since my Mom has a new boss, they're making her work the entire holiday instead of working just Christmas Eve or Christmas day. So that's another big change too.

BUT

I'm going to be looking at the bright side of things this year, and just enjoy this happy time with the people I can.

Another cool thing is that I might be going down to Jeff City this weekend to partake in the Holiday shindigs. Not sure because ...haven't been able to talk to Graham this week.

As should you all too! One of my favorite things about the holidays is the sense of nostalgia it brings me. (brought to mind by a journal I read recently, yes) Leaving out cookies for Santa, curling up on the couch with the fams to watch Christmas movies, decorating the tree, Christmas music, children's books, visiting Grandma and Grandpa, looking at Christmas lights with my Mom...I can't help but feel happy when I think about all of the wonderful memories I have attached to December and Christmas.

I'm curious. What makes you love the Holidays? If you even like them at all, of course. XD What are some traditions that you have with your family, or things that you've always done around this time of year? Everyone has a unique experience, and I'd love to hear what you guys have to say. And if you don't like the Holidays, just leave a comment saying Humbug or sucks to your azmar. ;U

By the way Nostalgia's kind of been kicking my ass these past few days. And I don't want it to stooooppp. D:

In school related things, I'm extremely anxious about our oral presentations we have to give for Sula. I'm nowhere near a good speaker, and knowing that I'm being recorded and pressed to make my presentation lengthy under a specific time limit has me stressed out as all get out. The only good thing I like about it is the book. It kind of irks me that people say it's a bad book based on the touchy subject matter. It's a very deep book and really well written in my opinion. Though I do agree...that book made me very very uncomfortable. :I

Oh yeah and finals.
